There’s a new Sunsmart outdoor area at Foster House, The Salvation Army Australia‘s shelter in Surry Hills, thanks to a community grants programme funded by Laing O’Rourke.

In December, team members from the Central Station Metro (CSM) project in Sydney, delivered and installed a shade sail, misting system, wooden screening and supplied sun creams and sunglasses, just in time for summer.

CSM has been a supporter of Foster House for almost two years and this latest initiative came courtesy Laing O’Rourke’s 2020 Community Grants programme, which was designed to support community organisations across the country, many of whom have been impacted by COVID-19. Thanks to our supply chain partner Abyss Construction for supporting the team with the installation!
